Our report found that while the pay disparity between BIPOC and their white counterparts were not insurmountable, the representation of BIPOC voices in the online publishing industry lagged at a dismal rate. BIPOC writers did not account for even a 5th of the total online publishing community. However white women have made great gains in the online publishing industry. In fact, white women were overrepresented within this community.
